Years in education: 30+ years some of those years were spent as an administrator and teacher in a private school, some as a homeschool mom, and some serving in the public school as an ELA teacher, SPED teacher, and now this is my 2nd year as a school counselor-in-training.
Education: I have a BA in English from MSSU, a MS in Curriculum and Instruction from WGU, an MS in Educational Leadership from WGU, and I am working on a Master's Degree in School Counseling at Lindenwood while finishing my EdD in School Leadership at Evangel.
Hobbies/Interests: I love spending time with my husband, kids and grandkids - we like to play games, travel, farm, and cook.
Other Information: I have been married for 34 years to an amazingly supportive man. We have worked in a pastoral role for 30 years. We have 7 kids ranging in age from 13-33, and we have 5 grandkids ages 3-12 plus one on the way! I am blessed to work alongside some of my kids and grandkids here at Avilla as well as on the Brinkhoff Farm & Ranch where we enjoy goat farming.
